Not very common or at least of it is there's something very wrong! The percentage will vary depending on how good or bad both the recruiter and recruitment process is. It can be as high as 1 in 4. With the right formula it should be almost zero. Classic situations that drive the number high are; over eager to get the ” great candidate” and not asking or getting candidate feedback at each step in the process.
