Role: Senior HR Execuitve

The National Institute of Bioprocessing Resarch & Technology (NIBRT) is a global centre of excellence for training and research. It is an innovative collaboration between University College Dublin, Trinity College Dublin, Dublin City University and the Institute of Technology, Sligo.
They need to find a Human Resource Manager who would develop an implement th strategy to further enhance their ability to find, engage and highly sought after technical people.

Process

Initially we met with the outing HR Manager of NIBRT to understand the issues and work through a solution on which we agreed. It took a few discussions and reviewing some sample CVs to come to an agreed conclusion that a high calibre HR Manager, who sits on the board, was the right way to go.
RFC prepared a recruitment strategy report to “tie down” what was agreed. We then followed our tried and tested recruitment process delivering a “long list” of 80+ candidates.
Once this was reviewed the short listing and initial interview selection process was conducted by RFC. This yielded a shortlist of four for first interview.

Result

A high calibre HR person was found who matched the role criteria. The impact has been felt and HR KPI’s have improved significantly.
